Well, tomorrow we spend the day getting ready to make the trip down to Dallas. Our time here has FLOWN. I haven't even gotten to go see anyone! I barely got to visit with my grandma for a couple hours today which was a lot of fun, and I squeezed in a shopping trip with my brother in Kansas City. I feel like a big jerk because I have no excuse for why I haven't seen my cousins (with whom I'm very very close, which Dave tells me is a rarity) except that I've been in la la land. I went from crazy busy/new baby/packing/everything else to absolutely nothing to do, and I've really embraced a lifestyle of doing nothing all day long. Oh, I give the babies their baths and make sure they're fed and change diapers, but even those things I don't have to do by myself. I also take naps, very long showers, watch movies, play with Audrey, and eat delicious food that I didn't have to cook. Audrey can run around as she pleases and someone else can hold Jane once in a while . . . quite frankly, I'm having a real vacation. And I've been so lazy about doing anything else but . . . nothing.
With that said, tomorrow I have to pack everything up and get ready for the long drive down to Dallas on Friday (it's about 10 hours). My mom and dad are taking the girls and I. Another way in which I've been spoiled.
I'm excited though. I miss David SO MUCH!! As do his little girls do, I'm sure. Since we'll be staying with his uncle and aunt in Plano, the fun won't stop when we leave my parents' house. :) It'll be nice to have someone to hang out with during the day (not to mention they're saving us a fortune! Thank you!). We're excited.
