Early Married Life 2004

One of the best times if our lives, after Macks Inn, living in Brentwood Apartments and going to school. Really? It was. Look at how little our library was back then!

After Macks Inn, I got a hair cut, which I regretted, but boy do I look smokin' in that dress!

Our first Halloween. Can you tell who we are? Dave is wearing a tablecloth. And he's holding Oedipus!

We had a lot more time on our hands . . .

Our first Christmas! Look at all of our crappy, hand-me-down furniture (or from D.I. more likely). I even tried to stick with the aqua and salmon color palette. I made the picture frames from cardboard and scraps. And it looked so clean! Look at the stereo! How fun and how cute. We didn't know how good we had it.

Macks Inn

After the wedding, we went to Dave's parents' cabin in Island Park for our honeymoon. Mostly because it was free, and mostly because we had to report to the theater down to road only three days later. It really is a pretty place up there, especially in the summer. But, judging by the view outside our tiny little cabin in mid May, it sure didn't look pretty. AND it snowed. Boo. I think I probably didn't take a picture of the inside because it was a dark little shack, quite literally.

This was on the set of the other show we did. We did Oklahoma, and I was Ado Annie and Dave was a farmer. This is Calamity Jane, and I was Susan (the barmaid, essentially), and Dave was Frances Fryer.
