Last Minute Missouri
One of the first things we did when we got to Missouri was partake of a classic Southern feast--BBQ ribs, fried okra, potato salad, and cold sliced tomatoes from the garden. I was in heaven. And so was Audrey. That first morning after we got in late the night before, I woke up to find my child missing from her bed. Apparently, she and Grampy had snuck out to take a long four-wheeler ride around the farm to see the baby chicks and monitor the construction of the new shop up at the pallet yard. She came riding up with a huge soggy diaper, no pants, pj shirt on, and a HUGE grin on her face, sitting in front of Grampy on that big dirty four-wheeler. :) She rode on it lots more those next few days (including some late night rides with Uncle Jake). The girls also bonded with Kassie (Jake's girlfriend), who was a huge help and whom the girls loved to play with. From there, of course, we happilly packed up and headed to our own beds here in Ithaca. We made it, but we're still not unpacked really. So, enough blogging. Gotta get on the ball. Overall, though, it was a fantastic (and very busy) summer!

Last Minute Idaho
We were so sad to leave the wonderful Idaho summer. Right before we took off we all caught nasty colds which put us down for a while, but we made it through. I guess that's what you get for playing too hard. Pictured above: the cousins (notice the princess/dinosaur fight), Emily (Dave's youngest sister) loved to play with the babies, Dave and his older brother having a philosphical discussion, no doubt, with their dad (a typical Hunt family activity). :) We miss them all so much already.
Audrey Update
I got that tutu at a garage sale for .50. It was one of our best purchases. The brow thing was her "jingle dress" that she picked out at the dance festival. And, yes, it makes lots of glorious noise. She held up pretty well the last legs of our trip. She just had a doctor appointment today, and she made it back to Ithaca in one piece. The staph is gone and her scare are hardly visable. Oh, and her bangs are finally growing out. When we get the family pictures back, you'll see how cute they actually turned out. This last picture: she kept getting the apples out of mom's canning bag to munch on whenever she pleased--no harm done. But there were lots of apples sitting around the house with just a few little bites out of the side. :)
Jane Update
Jane is a little dolly. She's the cutest thing. And she loves Audrey so much. I think they'll have tons of fun with each other in the next year or so when Janey gets more mobile. She fell of the couch for the first time yesterday. My stupid fault. Luckly, it wasn't very far; unluckly, she has a little bruise on her knee where it banged the cordless phone where she fell. :(
Some of these pictures are a little blurry, but still pretty cute. These last ones are of her playing with Oompa (Dave's dad). She giggles so much when she touches his wiskers.

Misc Texas Summer
Audrey dancing in her bath towel in front of the mirror.
Brent and Cheryl's house on Savage Drive in Plano. Our first residence in Texas!
The girls trying out their new stroller.
This is how Audrey eats her crackers.
Audrey's bites. Notice both legs. The scratches are where she's itched them. And these are when they were looking really really good. :(
Audrey always lays down by Janey and puts her hand on her (and when in the stroller, too). She's a good big sister.
Jane loves to watch Audrey play.

A "display."
Audrey likes to sort things and then leave little displays on the kitchen floor . . .
What a sweet baby girl!!
