Before I get into the story, here are all of the pictures I have of us after we met/started dating.
Ah, me. Young love.
Sadly, my favorite shirt was passed down to a lucky roommate, and Dave's favorite hat now resides in the girls' dress-up bin.
Luckily, however, that the necklace is lost to history.
I think this is the one and only dance we went to before we were married. It was after this dance that David told me he loved me . . . and we got questioned by police patrolling the park as to what age I was. Of course, we were just sitting innocently talking about our future together, but we felt very embarrassed for being surprised and questioned so suggestively.
Taken at a photo booth at the mall on the day we went ring shopping . . . and the day David broke up with me. It's complicated. More details later.
A random shot of us studying (and probably eating cereal) at his apartment.
These were taken the day I received my endowment at the St. Louis temple. We look tired. We had to get up exceptionally early to get there. Check out my huge Sister Missionary shoes!
I think this photo is us wearing our least favorite clothes . . .
This is me lookin' good. I wish I still had those shoes. And I REALLY wish I could still fit into those pants!!
This is me freezing and trying really hard to impress David on one of our first getting-to-know-you frolics with our friends. As a local boy, Dave and all of his local friends knew all the best places to have fun. Seriously, we did have fun. And those times bonding really helped us develop a strong friendship, which, as everyone knows, is the secret to a good marriage.
This is from the same cereal study time.
Taken at my apartment. Isn't he dreamy?
More of the cereal study party. We were probably doing math. Judging by Dave's bored expression, I'm sure we were doing math.
Oh, and this was taken with my roommates and their dates before that big dance we went to.
